Privacy Policy

Not Brokers connects buyers directly with Egypt’s property developers — no middlemen. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

Not Brokers is a real-estate listing platform operating in Egypt, reachable at notbrokers.me. For anything in this policy, write to info@notbrokers.me.

What we collect

  • Your phone number — you sign in with it, and we verify it by WhatsApp code.
  • Your name and e-mail — only when you type them into an enquiry form.
  • Your enquiries — which project or unit you asked about, and any message you wrote.
  • Saved items — the projects you bookmark or add to a comparison.
  • Basic technical data — device type, browser, and pages visited, used to keep the service working.

We do not collect payment details. We never ask for your national ID, bank data, or passwords.

Why we use it

  • To let you sign in and keep your saved projects between visits.
  • To pass your enquiry to the developer’s own sales team so they can call you back.
  • To answer you when you contact us.
  • To understand which listings people look for, so we can improve the catalogue.

Who we share it with

When you send an enquiry about a specific project or unit, your name and phone number go to that developer’s sales team — that is the whole point of the enquiry. We share nothing else, and we never sell your data to anyone.

We use WhatsApp Business to deliver sign-in codes, so your phone number passes through that service for delivery.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while your account is open. When you request deletion we remove your account and the personal data linked to it within 30 days, and confirm on WhatsApp once it is done. Enquiries you already sent to a developer stay with that developer’s sales team, as they are a record of your own contact with them.

Your rights

  • See your data — ask us and we will send you what we hold.
  • Correct it — edit your details from your account page.
  • Delete it — send a request from the account deletion page, or e-mail info@notbrokers.me. We action it within 30 days.
  • Stop the messages — reply to any WhatsApp message to opt out.

Children

The service is meant for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to the admin dashboard is limited to named staff accounts, and every listing records who added it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app.
